Messaging Terms
These Messaging Terms apply when you subscribe to BAMBAM surf alerts through WhatsApp, SMS, or Telegram.
By opting in on any channel, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
What you're signing up for
BAMBAM sends transactional surf alerts based on the breaks and conditions you choose. We do not send marketing, promotional, or third-party messages to your alert subscription. Message frequency varies based on surf conditions — flat days may produce zero messages, active swells may produce multiple alerts per day.
How to opt in
Opt in by completing the subscription flow on bambam.surf or by sending a clearly affirmative opt-in message on the channel you've chosen. We will confirm your subscription with a welcome message before sending alerts.
How to opt out
Reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any BAMBAM message. We'll confirm and stop sending alerts within one business day. You can also block BAMBAM in WhatsApp to stop messages immediately.
SMS
Reply STOP to any BAMBAM SMS to immediately unsubscribe. You'll receive one final confirmation SMS. Reply HELP for assistance or email contact@bambam.surf.
Telegram
Send /stop or /unsubscribe to the BAMBAM bot. You can also block the bot to stop messages immediately.
If any opt-out method doesn't work, email contact@bambam.surf and we will remove your subscription manually within one business day.
Messaging costs
BAMBAM does not charge subscribers for receiving alerts. However:
- SMS: Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
- WhatsApp and Telegram: These services typically use your data plan. International data charges may apply when roaming.
Supported carriers and platforms
SMS alerts in the United States are sent through carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and other major U.S. mobile networks. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. WhatsApp messages are delivered via the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Telegram messages are delivered via the Telegram Bot API operated by Telegram FZ-LLC.

Your consent
By opting in you confirm that:
- You are the subscriber or authorized user of the phone number or messaging account you are providing.
- You consent to receive automated alert messages from BAMBAM at that number or account.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services.
- You can withdraw consent at any time using the opt-out methods above.
Changes
We may update these Messaging Terms. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers.
